Combining talent, passion, and a healthy dose of high tech wizardry, Under The Radar comes across as anything but the average bar band. Listeners are routinely thrilled and surprised by the combination of exceptional musicianship and the selection of both old favorites and tasty “deeper” cuts rarely heard from cover bands.

Under The Radar may well be Atlanta’s best kept musical secret. Covering a wide range of styles including classic rock, funk, southern rock, new rock, blues, and progressive rock, Under The Radar delivers with a precision and power that leaves crowds begging for more.
At 35, Mike Stephens has been drumming in, and around Atlanta for about twenty years with such names as Wyred, Rockin Bones, The Source, Mind Design, and Jay Swift and Company. Through the years Mike has had the pleasure of jamming with and opening for such names as Robin Trower, The Black Crowes, Drivin N Cryin, Dream Theater, and Van Halen. His early influences include Elvis Presley, Joe South, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Kiss, The Allman Brothers Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, and Rush.
With a drive for perfection and a love of progressive rock, Andrew Thompson has been thumping his way around the Atlanta music scene since the late 80's. Sporting a six string bass, bass synthesizer pedals, and unbridled energy, Andrew brings the music alive and takes this band several notches above the typical "bar band".
Dan Thompson has been playing for more than two decades and the influences of the 70's and 80's made a strong impact on his style. At home with hard rock, blues, fusion, and funk, Dan's not afraid to stretch out and the chemistry in this band gives him that opportunity. No stranger to technology, you just never know what sounds you'll hear out of those six strings!
